Berlin – rocking since the Twenties

Time to introduce you to one of the best parties the city has to offer – The Bohéme Sauvage.

Brought to you by the “Gesellschaft für mondäne Unterhaltung” is this unique jewel now a well known event for thos who like to timetravel – back into the Twenties.

At least once a month you have the chance to swingdance your guts out in a beautiful decorated location with burlesque performances, authentic music and bands, absinth and a very shady casino.

Put yourself in a lovely flapper dress, grab your featherboa and get started. This is a dresscode party and it aims to only one thing: Our fun!

As a good advise preorder your tickets and come early – early as in “be-on-freaking-time” early. Otherwise you might enjoy to cue up quite a bit. Also if you are on time you will get a wardrobe space, the dance introduction and most important of all: a space at the quick filling poker table.

Yeah, that´s right, I usually deal the cards all night long and if you never played poker in your life before: you never learn it cheaper! Every paying guests receives a few million Reichsmark to gamble. To keep it interesting you can exchange your winnings in real and tasty Absinth. Who needs money anyways? It´s nothing worth in a second, inflation is up!

Rehersing your art in Berlin N°1

The very beginning of everything is rehersal.

True especially if you do juggling, aerial or other forms of acrobatics, dancing or any kind of objectmanipulation.

In the summertime Berlin offers you plenty of space in it´s tons of endless parks.

Slacklining in Volkspark Friedrichshain, Poi and twirling in the Mauerpar especially on sundays, the weekly tuesday spinners meeting at Tiergarten, or just hanging out and doing your thing on your own.

But alas, every true Berliner knows it, winter comes and it is a bitch. Cold, wet, windy, icey, temperatures most likely around minus 15 or so you will soon become to hate the winter.

It´s fucking freezing cold and wet and ugly and suddenly you realize that your bedroom isn´t big enough to reherse the newly discovert contact staff moves you want to impress your juggling friends with on the next convetion.

What to do?

Berlin wouldn´t be Berlin, if there wouldn´t be exactly the places you are looking for.

My favorite and therefor the N° 1 on my list are the Katakomben. Once well known as an underground horstestable (you heard, underground stable, with a freaking horse elevator and all) are they now the home of every random juggler. Huge warm and clean spaces, with rigging for aerials, tight rope and special compartments for private training and ballet cater the need of any object manipulator. The training fees are really low (a fiver a day and very fair monthly fees for the juggling addict) as the space is run by jugglers for jugglers.

Highly recommended!

Burn it, baby!

This is me, fiery me in Berlin, doing the things I do, living the life and have the fun.

Who am I?

I am Lilly. Lilly DuFeu, the woman of many names and more talents, the lady with the cleavage who is just shooting up fireworks or dealing you a decent hand of cards.

I love to perform, I love to burn and I love to give a good ass whipping.

Most of all: I love Berlin!

This city was made for me and me only.

Only here I can live through all my shenanigans, enjoy the parties, meet the freaks and have all the fun I need to have in my life.

So what is it that I do for a living?

Easy! I do spin fire, (for your entertainment) I do ignite fireworks (the big scary kind, not that boring newyears ladida), perform in freaky burlesque shows (maybe not too good, but always with lots of fun) and I entertain the adultindustry as a dominatrix. You heard. In my freetime, I love to play poker, hang out with my fat cat (you will hear all about Spikey soon enough) and live the exciting life.

Lucky as you are I will share the fun I am having in Berlin with you, and tip you off with interesting places to go. Such as the true underground clubs ( no worries, only a few ppl will read this here, so they will stay pretty underground), the parties to be, the spaces to train and the kinky spots of the town. I will throw in the one or other shop/restaurant as well, everyone needs a treat sometimes.
